Rtn.Veera  Jawahar holds Doctorate in engineering from US and has several years of diversified professional experience as an engineer and as a consultant.

As a Rotarian, he has been actively involved in various service projects including Polio Plus camps, health screening camps, flood relief efforts, support for mentally ill, and tree planting drives. He has also been involved in Covid-19 relief, free oxygen concentrator service, and vaccination camps in order to mitigate the impact of the pandemic.

Apart from running his business, he enjoys looking after his family farm where he practices sustainable agriculture. He has grown hundreds of native trees such as neem on his farm that have helped improve biodiversity. A teetotaler and a fitness enthusiast, he walks or runs 5 km every day.
